The Bus Driver will transport staff and students to off-campus athletic events using a Embassy 395 Freightliner M-2 bus 8.5 feet wide, 39.5 feet long and 11.5 high. Full cab – driver and co-pilot. Max 36 passengers with back storage area (outside access) plus driver & co-pilot.
Job Responsibilities:
Transporting sports teams and students to off-campus events and practices from mid August thru end of May; hours per week will vary during playing seasons. Additional hours over the summer for other campus events. Must be able to adapt to a flexible schedule; hours and days will vary depending on athletic schedules; nights and weekends are required. Ability to work with google documents, check and respond to e-mail and phone calls. Training on google docs will be provided Must keep written log of activity
Education / Experience:
- High School graduate - Clean driving record - Must know basic vehicle and traffic laws
Competencies / Skills:
Class B CDL Driver Requirements:
Clean Class B License with air brakes, Passenger endorsements
Familiar with DOT rules and requirements. Ability to read basic instructions, road signs and maps, and be able to keep a written log of activity.
Strong customer service abilities with emphasis on customer satisfaction
Strong organizational & Time management skills
Positive attitude with a Professional appearance
Willingness to learn and be coached as needed
