Responsibilities would be to organize and structure several periods a day of gymnastics for age groups ranging from 7-15 years old. You would provide instruction on all forms of traditional apparatus, play with the girls, motivate the lazy and challenge the committed. You would have a staff of skilled counselors to assist you. You would also be an integral member of the camp senior staff, participating in all aspects of camp life.

WHO ARE YOU: Experienced in coaching gymnastics. Experienced in working with children. Camping experience helpful.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY To run a developmental program that encourages all children to do their best, work cooperatively and build a sense of accomplishment and high self-esteem.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee program Train and make sure counselors are teaching correctly and are consistent Make certain attendance is taken Keep records on each child and ensure that all participate Be aware of any and all problems Safety- Make certain all areas have spotters and the gym is safe Plan mini gymnastic meets for campers and look into an inter camp if possible Plan Team Week events and be there to supervise Coordinate with other activity heads

SALARY: Starting compensation begins at $4500 and will increase based on experience. Room and board are included and travel allowances are also available.
