Will work within the Financial Affairs unit to support the hiring process for the Recreational Sports team by reviewing hiring requests for completeness and compliance with federal, state, university, and departmental policies.
Will assist in the processing of I-9's and background checks.
Will complete data entry of electronic hiring documents related to the employment of 800 to 1,000 temporary hourly employees each year.
High school diploma or GED.
Personable with a positive attitude.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills while working with a wide diversity of individuals.
Attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Motivated, willing, and able to learn new concepts, policies, and procedures.
Exhibit enthusiasm for Recreational Sports and Indiana University.
Perform all responsibilities in an accurate, punctual, and reliable manner.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Bill Garrett Fieldhouse
$17.50 per hour.
This position averages 15 to 20 hours per week and up to 29 hours per week during peak hiring seasons.
