![]() Public Address (PA)/MC (Temporary Employee Pool) Primary Purpose: To provide coverage of the sporting events held at the University of the Pacific in an enthusiastic and engaging manner during the event. Essential Functions: 1. Announcing starting lineups, game commentary, and analysis. 2. Providing a dynamic and engaging voice for fans during in-game activities. 3. Knowledge of sport terminology. 4. Must be willing to work odd hours, nights, and weekends. 5. Strong communication and speaking skills. 6. Experience with calling sport activity play-by-play. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a public address announcer for college athletic events. Ability to work in coordination with other game operations staff.
