To assist in the day to day operations of the Football team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensuring that all relevant institutional, conference and NCAA rules and regulations are followed including, but not limited to: player eligibility, recruiting, financial aid, scheduling and academic progress.
Assist Head Coach in the development of football positions in all phases of the game, fundamentals and schemes.
Develop scouting report, which requires film breakdown, computer editing and data compilation.
Conduct both individual scouting reports and position meetings.
Assist in the recruitment of student-athletes.
Act as the primary liaison between Head Coach and film crew for both practices and games.
Assist in student-athlete recruit weekends held on the campus of SVSU.
Coordinate the in-season film exchange in conjunction with other data entry job duties used on HUDL video editing equipment.
Filter data sheets and reports from HUDL video editing equipment to assist all football coaches in game planning.
Assist in team study hall throughout the school year.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma.
Three years of coaching and/or collegiate playing experience.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to project a positive and professional image in pressure situations.
Ability to provide leadership to student-athletes.
Experience and ability to positively interact with diverse student populations and groups.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
