University Club Sports – Head Rowing Coach-INQ0207810
Carnegie Mellon University is seeking applicants for a part-time head coach for the University Club Sports Rowing Club. Responsibilities include: Directing all aspects of the club sports rowing program within the University. This includes supervising daily practices and teaching of the competitive teams, as well as directing the recreational rowing program for students, faculty and staff. Responsibilities will also include organization of a competitive racing program, maintaining adequate safety standards for the program, maintaining equipment, operating within the club budget, organization of club functions and supervising assistant and volunteer coaches.
· Bachelor's degree required
· Competitive club, high school or collegiate coaching experience preferred
· Valid Driver's license and experience driving launch
· Ability to interact with all members of the crew community
This is an Independent Contractor position with the Carnegie Mellon University Athletics Department. This is not an employee position. The Independent Contractor will work closely with student organizations, while the contracting relationship is managed by the Athletics Department. The successful applicant must be willing to complete all necessary Independent Contractor requirements.
