Job Summary: JOB SUMMARY: The SVSU Department of Kinesiology program invites applications for two full-time tenure-track assistant professor positions with an emphasis on undergraduate exercise science and related education beginning Fall 2019.
Candidates should be able to teach undergraduate Kinesiology courses, advise students, conduct collaborative and independent research, and engage in service. Teaching load may include theoretic, practicum, and/or laboratory classes varying from introductory to upper-division undergraduate courses related to the field of Kinesiology.
Minimum Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Doctorate in exercise science or related field with evidence of scholarly activity. (ABD will be considered for assistant rank).
Preferred Qualifications: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching experience in an academic setting, involvement with professional organizations within kinesiology and experience in mentoring undergraduate students preferred.
