Gannon University, a Catholic university, invites applications for a part-time seasonal Assistant Coach for the Women’s Wrestling Team. Gannon’s athletic program includes 22 varsity sports, in which 18 sports compete at the NCAA Division II level. Responsibilities include assisting and supporting the head coach in relation but not limited to recruiting; strength and conditioning; team training (freestyle); and fundraising. Candidates must be able to support and promote the University’s Mission.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree; a valid driver’s license that is in good standing; knowledge of WCWA (Women’s Collegiate Wrestling Association) and/or NCAA rules. Prior playing or freestyle coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level strongly preferred.
