Description: The Head Coach is responsible for the overall organization, direction, supervision and administration of a successful NCAA Division III varsity program. Primary responsibilities for the full-time position of head coach include recruiting qualified student-athletes to help meet the institution enrollment goals, coordinating non-conference game and practice schedules, monitoring student-athlete academic progress, coordinating budget and fund raising, team travel, and supervision of assistant coaches.

Required Knowledge: A Bachelors degree, 3-5 years record of successful coaching in the sport of womens lacrosse with an emphasis on teaching, coaching, or athletic leadership. Experience working with students in a team or sports setting. The applicant should have a working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, and have strong communication skills, both oral and written, as well as computer skills. Additionally, applicants must possess a valid drivers license and have the ability and willingness to work nights and weekends, including travel.
Preferred/Desirable Knowledge: Experience coaching with an emphasis on teaching and coaching at the collegiate level. Previous experience with the college recruitment and enrollment process as well as a commitment to student development and student success. Possession of current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
Required Prior Work Experience: Coaching experience at the college or high school levels as well as familiarity with college recruitment.
