Job duties for the position of Academic Advisor (Recruiter) will include, but not be limited to:
Recruit students for Hazard Community & Technical College by visiting high schools, GED/Adult Learning Centers, Jobsight Locations, etc.
Act as a liaison between the college and high school counselors in the service area.
Attend events related to recruitment of students, i.e. college fairs, festivals, high school sporting events in the area.
Assist with recruitment activities related to non-traditional students.
Arrange and schedule campus tours, freshman orientation and student activities.
Utilize multiple methods of communication in an effort to reach and recruit students.
Work closely with Director of Admissions to evaluate recruitment efforts.
Other duties as assigned.
