The Part Time Fitness Center Staff, under the general supervision of the Manager of the Fitness Center, will assist in the operation of the Fitness Center and perform clerical tasks.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED. This position entails individuals working in a weight room, aerobic room and gymnasium areas assisting members with the proper use of strength, fitness and sports related equipment. Part-time staff members must have prior knowledge, or use of, or participated in sport or fitness related areas. The individual in this position must be detail oriented and have experience or training in maintaining clerical systems. Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work with students, faculty, and the general public is required. Must have CPR certification or be able to obtain one. A criminal background check is also required.
